Zoom now has virtual background support on Android with fresh update

Zoom on Android is receiving a fresh update this week that gets a new set of features. As the video conferencing platform maintains to be mainly be used on the web. The company is equally conscious of the changes its mobile app wants. And because of this, Zoom is now taking the virtual background feature to its mobile app. This inclusion is a fraction of the Zoom Android app version 5.3, offered for all users at present.

The fresh update as well fixes slight bugs and permits you to share videos with other members while on a call. However, it goes without saying, that the virtual background is the superior news between the two. This feature became well-accepted with web users, mainly because people working from home can transform their video background. And not show the untidy real-life settings or hide their location in general.

And currently, Zoom Android users will be able to use the same feature on their mobile devices. This will make sure you can adjust the background, especially if you’re taking Zoom calls on-the-go. With that said, the Android app arrives with small differences matched up to the web platform. On Zoom mobile, you will be able to only select motionless images as the background. Video support for the background is still limited to the web version. However, we still don’t believe that’s a deal-breaker in general.

Zoom gets new video and audio enhancements for the web platform

Zoom has included new video and audio features for its users. It is presenting new features that make virtual meetings thrilling. For this, Zoom has launched new filters, better lighting for video calls, and improved noise suppression for enhanced audio. All these features are offered on the new version 5.2.

The noise setting is offered in the Settings menu of the app. These can be changed from low, mid to high depending on what the user wants. Likewise, Zoom’s video settings let you adjust the lighting and backdrop of the screen shared with other users during the video call.
