Bluetooth To Roll Out a New Device called “Bluetooth LE”

The device called Bluetooth LE stands for low energy and it is an improvement of Bluetooth’s current technology, the Classic. This was introduced by groups of companies that set the Bluetooth standard at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
In a press release by the company, the company said: “The new audio will enable the development of Bluetooth hearing aids that bring all the benefits of Bluetooth audio to the growing number of people with hearing loss”.
The device features higher-quality audio, streaming of audio to multiple pieces of technology. It also gives improvements for hearing aids and increases gadgets’ battery life.
Bluetooth LE operates on a newer audio signal compared to its classic technology.
Bluetooth EL also allows LE audio to complete new features such as support for multi-stream audio as this would make it easier to for more than two people to listen to the same audio at once.
It enables Bluetooth broadcast in places like the mall, or an event hall that air music to everyone with headphones. This is similar to the music sharing option that Apple (AAPL) introduced last year.
For people who have hearing aids, no needs to worry, as those with hearing aids will improve because LE Audio will soon support the devices. Mind you, your old headphones will not support the new technology. Therefore you will have to update it through a new hardware update set to be released later this year.
