Xiaomi’s Android flagship Mi 11 is now official in China and happens to be the world’s first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor While this is the USP of the smartphone, among many other features that make rich Android flagships for 2021 is the 5G technology.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 features;
- powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 processor which is 5G compatible,
- comes with Adreno 660 GPU for handling all graphics-intensive tasks,
- Available in 3 configuration models featuring up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage,
- 6.81-inch Quad HD+ (3200 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate,
- HDR 10+, 10-bit color,
- 480Hz touch sample rate, and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. It is A+ rated display panel as regards, DisplayMate testing where it managed to break 13 different records,
- comes with 4,600mAh battery and supported by 55W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
- 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture front camera
- has triple rear camera setup headlined by a 108-megapixel sensor with f/1.85 aperture and optical image stabilization, and two other 13-megapixel cameras with a wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
- in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, NFC, and WiFi 6
- It will run the latest MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.
The smartphone will be available in Horizon Blue, Midnight Gray, and Frost White color options. Also comes with a variant with vegan leather that can be purchased in Honey Beige and Lilac Purple colors. The flagship will go on sale in China starting January 1st via different online and offline partners, but there is currently no update on when it would be available globally. It is also important to know that Xiaomi will be shipping the Mi 11 without a charger in the box.
