Windows 10 PCs to be able to launch Android apps soon

All Windows 10 PCs to start supporting sync with Android phones through Your Phone app. By using this app, every user will be able to mirror phone content comfortably on their PC. And also get a notification for calls and messages, through the app, Windows 10 PCs will also be able to initiate the Android apps operating on the phone.
This feature is coming to Your Phone app very shortly, but you’ll only be able to make use of it with your Samsung Galaxy phones. Through this new update to the app, Microsoft is bringing its amalgamated experience to Samsung users. This new feature will operate across a wide range of Galaxy devices from the Galaxy A30 to the Galaxy S20 phones.

It is also reported that Microsoft users don’t have to sign in or set up these apps on the PC. And more or less the multi-tasking experience from phone to PC will get a big improvement. Nevertheless, the company was fast to point out that a few apps will not work kindly to the mirror experience. Some gaming apps may stop working with the PC keyboard or the mouse.
This is the reason why they are only rolling out the feature for Windows 10 Insider users for now.  For your Phone app to mirror with the PC, the Samsung phone needs to be running Android version 9 or later. While the PC should be updated to Windows 10 October 2018 version or later.

 

Your Phone app now controls phone music on Windows 10

 

Some months ago, Your Phone app got some new features that allow users to control music playing from their mobile on the Windows 10 PC. The feature is in operation when your phone is paired to the PC via Your Phone app. You can see the music controls on the bottom left of your PC. Microsoft reportedly announced the new feature as far as back in April. And it is now being offered to existing users. You will be able to play/pause the music track and also change to another one from the music playlist on your smartphone.
