According to a video by EverythingApplePro, the Apple-centric YouTuber did a comparison between the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Xs, using it to carry out several tasks. The 12 Pro beats the older iPhones in this category and it’s not just because of the A14.

EverythingApplePro demonstrated how the iPhone 12 Pro could jump between entire loads of apps opened down together, the iPhone 12 pro was even able to open several apps within seconds because of its additional 2GB of RAM which it has over its precursor, permitting for a lot of apps to be stored ‘in memory.” That means the apps are loaded from the iPhone 12’s RAM instead of its collection of storage.
This makes the multitasking on the iPhone 12 pro faster, what past iPhone models have struggled to do before, not like many android Android phones with huge amounts of RAM.

Apple doesn’t disclose their past iPhone models RAM; however, the iPhone 12 Pro is believed to be 6GB. Fairly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has 12GB. But EverythingApplePro distinguished that the iPhone 12 Pro shows how a well-optimized chip means there’s no need to have a gigantic sum of RAM in a smartphone. Agreed Apple designs its chips in-house, it has better power over how the silicon plays with iOS and the remaining of the iPhone.
