Firstly, the address bar has been moved at the underneath of the screen so you can make use of it more without difficulty if you are using a big phone with one hand. And if you don’t want it, you can constantly place it back up.

Seeing as Firefox is privacy-oriented, the Enhanced Tracking Protection feature has been employed here too. There are three presets – Strict, Standard, and Custom. The default is Standard and while it won’t block content trackers for ads, it would still assist with fingerprinters. An extra related feature coming from Firefox Focus is the opportunity to open up links privately in a tab.

A fresh feature called Collections works similarly to bookmarks but you will know links thrown into Collections are a little you’d want to pick up afterward on or read that article when you have the time without cluttering your window with tabs.

Third-party add-ons as well get a little love with the latest update. They were supported with the preceding version of Firefox for Android but nearly all of the add-ons are not optimized for mobile. This is why Mozilla is now starting to endorse mobile-friendly add-ons so you will get a suitable mobile experience. Currently, just 10 add-ons have been certified but the number will increase gradually.

Picture-in-picture for video playback is also included in the new Android update as well whereas under the hood developments promise about 10% faster page load times credits to some tweaks to the GeckoView engine.

If you are yet to receive the new update, you can do it manually as it is available on Google’s Play Store.
