Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Received Android 10 Update

The Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) gets the Android 10 update previously last month, and currently, it’s the Tab A 8.0 (2019) locked to Verizon’s network that’s getting a taste of the newest version of Android.

The Android 10 update for Verizon’s Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) sports version number QP1A.190711.020.T387VVRU2CTG9 and bumps up the Android security patch level on the tablet to August 2020.

This new version also comes with fresh features, which consist of Live Transcribe, Sound Amplifier, and Focus Mode. The update also brings in enhanced navigation gestures and camera experience for users.

Furthermore, the new version replaces Bixby Home with Samsung Daily, with Night Mode renamed as Dark Mode.

The new update for Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is systematically rolling out over the air and should get to all the units in 2weeks. You can check for it manually by heading to the Settings > about phone > Software updates menu If the update notification did not pop up on your tablet.
