When you get blocked by someone on Facebook, you don’t get any notification or message. How then can you know if you have been blocked by someone on Facebook? this is what I will explain in this article because there are many ways you can find out.

It is difficult to know whether you have been blocked by someone on Facebook unless you frequently communicate with the person.

How Can I Know If Someone Blocked Me On Facebook?

Below are the few things that would happen when someone blocks you on Facebook;

the user’s Facebook profile will no longer be visible to you
you won’t be able to send them messages or start a conversation with them.
they go missing in your friend’s list and they won’t be visible to you on Facebook anymore. So, if at any point you notice that someone is no more on your friend’s list or the person doesn’t appear whenever you search their names on Facebook, this simply means you have been blocked.
their feeds or timeline won’t be visible to you anymore
you won’t be able to invite them to a group or event and they won’t be able to invite you to any event too
you won’t be able to tag them in posts, comments, or photos and they won’t be able to tag you as well

How Can I Block Someone on Facebook?

To block someone:

Click in the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
Click Blocking in the left side menu.
In the Block users section, enter the name of the profile that you want to block and click Block.
Select the specific profile that you want to block from the list that appears and click Block, then click Block [name].

Note: If you can’t find the person by name, simply go to the person’s profile and select Block from the menu at the bottom right of their cover photo.

How Can I Unblock Someone on Facebook?

Note: When you unblock someone, that person will be able to see your posts and other things you share on your timeline. Since you have blocked them before, they are no longer your friend on FB and you will have to add them again by sending a friend request.

To unblock someone:

Click in the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & Privacy, then click Settings.
Open your Facebook account
click on settings and privacy
Click on settings, then click on privacy
then click on blocking
In the Block users section, you should see a list of people you’ve blocked.
Click Unblock next to the name of the person you want to unblock.
Click Confirm to finish unblocking the person.

Note: If you unblock someone, you won’t be able to block them again for a few days.

How to Unfriend Someone on Facebook

What happens when you unfriend someone on Facebook?

when you unfriend someone on FB, they disappear from your friend’s list and they will no longer see your timeline unless they search for you by name.

to unfriend someone on FB;

simply go to their profile by clicking on their profile photo or by searching for the person’s name.
then click on the “person” icon which is right next to the “Message” button
then select “Unfriend” and “Confirm”

How to Hide a Post from Facebook Timeline

Let’s assume you are tagged by one of your friends in a post and you don’t want the post to be visible on your timeline. You can simply hide it.

To hide a post from your timeline;

Click on the three dots on the upper-right of the post.
then select hide post or “snooze” the post for 30 days.

You can also unfollow the person, which means that the person’s post will no longer appear on your timeline.
