Huawei P Smart 2021 with 48MP quad cameras, Kirin 710A SoC, unveiled

Huawei has unveiled P Smart 2021 in a few parts of the European markets, as well as Austria, Croatia, Estonia, and Slovenia. It is the heir to the P Smart 2020 that was launched in April this year.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 arrives with a flat display with a punch-hole placed on the top-center. On the back, the phone comes with quad rear cameras, where 48MP is the main snapper, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide with 120-degree FOV, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the phone packs an 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging support for speedy charging. It also boasts of a Kirin 710A processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage space with microSD card support for extra expansion. The Kirin 710A is based on a 14nm process and specially built for mid-range phones. It has been crafted by SMIC, one of China’s top chipmakers. The processor is imitative of the Kirin 710 and the Kirin 710F, so anticipate the core CPU design and the GPU to be similar The first phone to be powered by Kirin 710A processor is the Honor Play 4T unveiled in April this year.

The phone operates on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 OS. It does not arrive pre-installed with Google apps and services other than it does include Huawei App Gallery and Huawei Mobile Services.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. It comes with dual SIM support and the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. Connectivity options consist of 4G LTE, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB-C, a 3.5mm audio jack Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 is priced at 220 Euros in Austria which translates to $267 USD. It will be available for purchase in the listed countries in October. It comes in Brush Gold, Midnight Black, and Crush Green color options.
